Firstly, I would like to say what a lot of modern practical bike for the money. You could buy a FS1E or an RD350 or one third of a Z1 for the same money & these CB900F's are currently a lot lot rarer. I have covered approximately one hundred miles on it & to a big bike show this week & it starts, rides & stops like an absolute dream. In my opinion you simply won't get more nostalgia bang for your buck. It is so easy & comfortable to ride & just stunning to look at - people flock around it like bees to a jam jar! Prices will surely rise quickly.Originally from Maryland, USA (have paperwork) with just 19,950 miles (believed to be genuine) I have 2 keys, owners manual, sales brochure, Haynes manual, tool kit, a stack of invoices PLUS it is now registered as an historic vehicle so no tax or MOT required (currently MOT'd until June 2024) As you can tell the bike has been subject to an extensive (read expensive!) restoration & the engine is whisper quiet (by far the quietest of the four I've owned) so here are some (not exhaustive) of the bits done:New tyresNew paintwork & decalsNew seat cover & strapNew "Marving" replica exhaust system - absolutely makes the bikeAlloy parts polishedNew fastenersFull engine & clutch serviceValves shimmedCam chains checked/adjustedNew cablesNew/overhauled brake cylindersNew brake lines (originals included)Overhauled brake callipers with new padsNew fluids/plugs/caps/filtersNew chain/sprocketsFront forks servicedFull carb overhaul & balance, new carb kits fitted (original rubbers included)(Few original bits as well such as handlebar & hoses etc.)SO, WHAT A FIND - BE QUICK AS THIS IS A GOOD ONE - OF THAT THERE IS NO MISTAKEI am semi-retired & do this as a passion/pension top up - consequently my bikes are competitively priced (I have no overheads) & I believe you will not find better presented examples as I personally detail them PROPERLY with no jet washing or harsh chemicals by using waterless wash & go system & a lot of WD40.
