THIS GOLDWING HAS HAD A SUPERB HIGH QUALITY REBUILD TO AN EXACTING STANDARD WITH OVER 300+ MAN HOURS PUT INTO IT & YOU MUST SEE THE RESTORATION PROGRESS IN THE EXCELLENT VIDEO DONE BY THE ORIGINAL RESTORER WHICH ALSO EXPLAINS AND ANSWERS A LOT IN THE COMMENTS - LIKE HOW MUCH IT COST NOT INCLUDING HIS TIME & EXCELLLENT SPRAYING SKILLS!!!
I doubt you will find a better one in a hurry especially as I have just spent £1,000 having new water pump, oil, coolant & carbs cleaned due a lack of use since rebuild ... CRIMINAL!THIS IS JUST SO MUCH 70's NOSTALGIA FOR THE MONEY & WHEN INTRODUCED THE GOLDWING REALLY WAS A GAME CHANGER & BEAUTIFULLY ENGINEERED. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE INVOICE WHEN IMPORTED (£1,500 then approx 7k rebuild + respray - £1,200 just for the re-chroming!) PLUS HONDA UK AUTHENTICATION OF MODEL TOGETHER WITH NOVE CERTIFICATES ETC. & IT IS NOW ON AN AGED RELATED NUMBER PLATE & REGISTERED AN HISTORIC VEHICLE WITH NO TAX OR MOT DUE. AN ABSOLUTE GORGEOUS CLASSIC THAT WOULD COST YOU DOUBLE THE ASKING PRICE TO FIND & DO ANOTHER ONE YOURSELFI am semi-retired & do this as a passion/pension top up - consequently my bikes are competitively priced (I have no overheads) & I believe you will not find better presented examples as I personally detail them PROPERLY with no jet washing or harsh chemicals by using waterless wash & go system & a lot of WD40.
