IMPORTED FROM USA THEN REGISTERED BY 1st UK OWNER IN MARCH 2019. HE IS AN ELDERLY GENTLEMAN WHO HAS HIS OWN COLLECTION & RESTORES VINTAGE MOTORCYCLES WHICH HE DID WITH THIS OVER THE COVID YEARS WITH A LOT OF NEW PARTS FROM DAVID SILVER & REBUILT THE ENGINE FROM THE BOTTOM WITH NEW BEARINGS, SEALS, REBORED HEAD WITH NEW PISTONS ETC. ETC. & AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS POWDER COATED FRAME & VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING REPLACED INCLUDING NEW CLOCKS NOW SHOWING 760 MILES SINCE THE REBUILD & I RODE 8 MILES TODAY & IT WAS AS SMOOTH AS YOU LIKE & AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE! NEW TYRES, NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM, NEW BATTERY (I HAVE JUST FITTED) & NEW IGNITION BARREL & TO FINISH IT OFF A LOVELY QUALITY PROFESSIONAL RESPRAY WHICH LOOKS RESPLENDENT IN THE AUTUMNAL SUNSHINE.Seriously, the man hours, new parts & rebuild this bike must have swallowed up!He is digging out the receipts, including engine rebuild & the original clocks & some other original parts which I hope to pick up soon.Over 50 years on (1969) when the 1st 750 Four landed (also we landed on the moon!) it blew the British bikes out of the water & if you read all the reviews was light years ahead of it's time being the 1st affordable in-line four (and an overhead camshaft!!!), electric start & above all was reliable. It has gone down as a significant part of motorcycling history widely regarded as the first superbike. The 1st years "sandcast" (Google it) models are now fetching up to £30,000 & the model barely changed except for a more reliable engine so this bike is now looking very very good value.
