Over 50 years on (1969) when the 1st 750 Four landed (also we landed on the moon!) it blew the British bikes out of the water & if you read all the reviews was light years ahead of it's time being the 1st affordable in-line four (and an overhead camshaft!!!), electric start & above all was reliable.  It has gone down as a significant part of motorcycling history widely regarded as the first superbike.  The 1st years "sandcast" (Google it) models are now fetching up to £30,000 & the model barely changed except for a more reliable engine so this bike is now looking very very good value.
